BLOCK tokenomics
Fixed supply, Bitcoin-style emission, no inflation surprises. BLOCK is mined across every merge-mining lane — there is no separate issuance.
Emission schedule
Identical to Bitcoin's curve: the block subsidy starts at 50 BLOCK and halves every 210,000 blocks, so ~21,000,000 BLOCK are ever mined. The geometric total converges — the last satoshis are mined deep into the next century.
| Epoch | Blocks | Subsidy | BLOCK minted this epoch |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 – 210,000 | 50 | 10,500,000 |
| 2 | 210,001 – 420,000 | 25 | 5,250,000 |
| 3 | 420,001 – 630,000 | 12.5 | 2,625,000 |
| 4 | 630,001 – 840,000 | 6.25 | 1,312,500 |
| … | … | ½ each epoch | → 0 |
Distribution
The 210,000 BLOCK premine is ~1% of the mining cap — a one-time genesis allocation for development, liquidity and ecosystem bootstrapping. Everything else is earned by miners across the merge-mining lanes.
Why fixed supply matters here
Because the cap is hard, BLOCK used as "gold" across the ecosystem — tips, awards and boosts in Social, fees on the DEX, in-game value in WORLD — moves circulating BLOCK between people. Nothing is minted to pay for it.
